You'll never need false lashes with these mascaras

I should start out by saying that I’m partial to full, doll-like lashes, so if you like volume in your lashes as well, please continue reading. If you prefer more a more subtle look with more natural texture, please comment below and I’ll make sure to link some that are more appropriate for this this style as well. Without further ado, here’s a list of my top 6 favorite mascaras in no particular order!

1. Dior - Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple volume plumping lash primer

I’m starting this blog with a recommendation for a lash primer rather than a mascara – I’ve been using this lash primer for over 5 years now, and you would think that lash primers are just an excuse to squeeze more money out of makeup lovers, but this one is actually a game-changer. It helps to prevent smudging under and above the eyes, helps to build volume faster and without clumps, and legitimately helps to make your lashes healthier and stronger over time.

2. Dior - Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume HD Mascara

I first became aware of this mascara through a campaign that Bella Hadid did back in 2018 for Dior, and I it looked fab so I knew I had to try it! It comes in a new, squeezable tube so it evenly coats the brush and creates instant lash volume. In my makeup, I really enjoy thick, voluminous lashes so this mascara is perfect for me because I can achieve xl volume quite fast – you definitely won’t need fake lashes anymore! The only concern I had with this mascara is that it can dry too quickly and you’ll need to purchase a new one soon.

3. Lancôme - Monsieur Big Mascara

Lancome tends to have very good mascaras; I’ve been using Hypnose for a while and I also am fond of Grandiose, but Monsieur Big is the newest addition to their mascara family and I love the thickness and length that it provides for my lashes! I’ve used at least three tubes already and I love that it doesn’t flake or smudged and comes off super easily. The brush is great to apply the product and it distributes easily – very smooth product with no clumping!

4. Too Faced - Better Than Sex Mascara

This mascara has an hourglass-shaped brush that was inspired by the curves of the female body. The brush has extra stiff bristles, so it helps to maximize the performance of the formula. I love the intense, black color and dramatic effect that it gives to my lashes!

5. Maybelline New York Volum' Express The Rocket Washable Mascara

I’ve been using Maybelline’s mascaras since I was 14, and they have amazing over-the-counter products that are very affordable and good quality. I used their Colossal Volum Express mascara for many years and I absolutely loved it, and this Volume Express The Rocket is a newer formula that delivers high times the volume as the old one, and has a tough core and soft, even bristles that literally never clump. One of my favorites for sure!

6. Chanel – Le Volume de Chanel mascara

I first had the opportunity to try this mascara at a modeling job, and I was immediately hooked! I purchased one for myself the very same day! Of course it’s Chanel, so you can expect the best – it’s luxurious, rich-looking and dramatic. It is on the pricey side, but you can get it during make up sales at Bloomingdales, Sephora, etc. and it’s totally worth it. No smudges, great volume, great for sensitive eyes and consistency with a an amazing, defined look!
