Blazer Updates 2020

Spring is around the corner now and one of the main trends of spring 2020 is minimalist blazers. While it was previously the domain of office workers and other professionals, the blazer has made a comeback among influencers and style icons as a chic, must-have item for every wardrobe. For a while, the trend was boxier fit, more masculine cut with neutral colors, but now more styles and colors are cropping up in women’s blazers.

These days, you can find single and double breasted blazers, neutral and bold color patterns, as well as wider and narrower lapels. In addition, the classic Chanel tweed material has recently made a comeback, so now you can find this material in many more stores and collections. The trendiest ways to wear a blazer tend to be with a bralette underneath, or with biker shorts, denim, or tailored pants, among others.

When shopping for a blazer, try sizing up and bear in mind that the thigh length cut is one of the most trendy looks at the moment, but if this isn’t for you, don’t be afraid to experiment with cropped and shorter lengths as well, as these have made inroads, too.
